We went to a biblical garden: all the activities/greenery were things mentioned in the Bible. It was by far one of the best field trips because everything was hands on; we got to learn the significance of the greenery and experience activities they would have done in biblical times. For example... herding sheep! It was so difficult, it became just plain funny after a while. They wouldn't budge no matter how much you pushed on them, even with all 20 of us trying! Back in the day they would only have one shepherd for a huge group of sheep. It definitely made me appreciate shepherds and what they had to go through. It also helped me gain a better understanding of what Christ does as the Good Shepherd.
We crushed up some hyssop and got to take it home to use as garnish for pizza or pita bread
Drawing water from the well
Our guide tied the leaves together... Eve probably wore something like this in the garden
